A team of Law Society of Scotland colleagues took on the challenge of the 2021 Kiltwalk and raised a whopping £1,102.50 to support the work of the Foundation.

This year's Kiltwalk took place virtually over the weekend of 23-25 April and, with mass participation events restricted by the pandemic, Kiltwalkers were able to choose their own challenges, distances and routes.

The Lawscot team decided to tackle walking a marathon each - that's 26.2 miles! - supporting each other virtually and in small groups, as they clocked up the miles around Edinburgh and Fife.

Thanks to their efforts, they raised £735 and smashed their original target of £400! This was then boosted by 50% by Kiltwalk partners The Hunter Foundation to a massive £1,102.50 - almost half of one of our annual bursaries.

Thank you to all the Lawscot Kiltwalkers - Alex, Lyndsey, Elaine, Heather, Liz and Tricia - and everyone who sponsored them!

And if you fancy supporting their challenge, there's still time. Sponsor them here.
